Be moved into action to make a difference by the current Oxfam campaign “In my name”. As simple as adding your name to the petition, making a pledge on what you will do to contribute such as supporting fair trade through your shopping choices, then encourage friends to do the same.

Also urge that re-juggle budgets to include a regular contribution to programs such as Aware by Oxfam (as little as $25 per month) that not only provide basics such as clean water and schooling but also enable people to learn new skills and fight poverty themselves.
